Karen sent us news and some photos of Tor, the Giant Schnauzer puppy we transported for her from Germany last month.
Karen tells us: “He’s a great little guy, full of confidence.”

Giant Schnauzer pup Zentaur, now known as Tor, seemed to settle in the minute he arrived at his new home in Lancashire. Karen sent photos to prove it, and tells us:
“Tor arrived safely. First thing he did was pee all over Rick’s foot!!!!! Thanks for everything. An efficient, caring service. I’d certainly recommend Animalcouriers.”
All the pets were in fine form after their sea crossing and eager for breakfast. The dogs had a good runaround and Alice even wanted to do some tricks!
Courier S delivered Alice and Gucci to their new homes. Tor and Bobby were transferred to the care of courier R who’s delivering them to Morecambe and Aberdeen respectively. And Oreo will be collected from our Surrey base.
We colleced Toy poodle Gucci in Germany this morning. She is off to live in Reading to start a new life, with a new owner. It was an exciting day for Gucci and her hair had been done especially for the journey.
Tor is proving rather difficult to photograph. He’s full of puppy playfulness – he will jump, run, leap and somersault – anything but sit still for a photograph! Luckily his owner Karen has sent some photos of him so you can see what a gorgeous fellow he is. He’s a chilled traveller.
Not forgetting someone back at the office with a true passion for liquorice, Courier S has ensured her stock cupboards are refilled with salty and sweet delights.
Having picked up Swedish Vallhund Alice in Malmo yesterday, Animalcouriers started the journey back towards the UK via Denmark and Germany.
In Sulsdorf we collected adorable Giant Schauzer puppy Zentaur. He’s off to join his new owners in Lancashire where he’ll be known as Tor.
We then stopped off in the centre of Hamburg where laid-back cat Oreo joined our trip. He’s travelling with us to start a new life in London.

On board the ferry from Denmark to Germany — a train driving up alongside her rather spooked courier S!
Yesterday Animalcouriers collected handsome Border Terrier Fudge from Shropshire and beautifully behaved Colliedoodle Angel from Dorset. We spent last night in Calais in northern France, where everyone had a good rest before heading towards Germany today via Belgium and the Netherlands.

Fudge with his family — both little girls were very excited to have their favourite playmate back and immediately started a game of tag
While courier S collects her passengers in southern Europe, courier M had the pleasure of escorting Herr Schmidt, a Greyhound, and Borzois Nadya and Strawman from Walsall in the UK to their new home on the German/Dutch border.
Herr Schmidt and Nadya are originally from Detroit in the US, so are used to travelling. This was Strawman’s longest journey so far and he coped very well.
All three dogs are now living on the outskirts of a village in sight of a castle, where they have plenty of space to run around.
Best friends Wilson and Julius are travelling with Animalcouriers from Cheltenham to start a new life in Germany.
Despite their grand names, these two cats started off quite timid about the journey. But with lots of cuddles and strokes, they soon started purring like crazy. And of course, they have each other for courage and company.
They had a stopover in Aachen and came into courier S’s room with her. They sat on the dressing table staring at her, which gave her the reassuring feeling that they were watching over her all night!
Now that they have relaxed into the trip, this handsome pair are starting to show their great characters. They’ll rejoin their family later today.
Yesterday was a big day for this little dog: breakfast in Sweden, lunch and playtime in Denmark, supper in Germany, and bedtime in the Netherlands!
Tommy was very happy and just a little bit over-excited at being reunited with his family. His journey from Florence to Norfolk had been fun, but nothing beats home comforts and a boy to play with!
Lionhead rabbits Jak and Dexter got a similarly warm welcome when they reached Northampton last night, with cuddles and strokes from all the family.
