Scottish Terriers Monty and Fitzy, who’re staying with courier M until they leave for Chile, had a very busy day yesterday.
By the end of it, both they and house dog Amber were all quite tuckered out!

Fitzy and Monty are a pair of two-year-old Scottish Terriers whose journey from Middlesex to Santiage in Chile has been organised by Animalcouriers.
While they wait for their flight, they’re staying with courier M. A couple of real charmers, they’ve got their paws well and truly under the table. In no time at all they’d commandeered the best spot on the sofa, which gives them a fine view of all the goings-on in the garden and of anyone venturing up the drive.
Even Amber, the resident Golden Retriever, seems to have accepted them. Usually quite sniffy and remote with visiting dogs, she seems to have accepted Fitzy and Monty without any problem.
Foxy is travelling from Cork to Alicante. The first leg of her journey took her as far as Sussex where she’s staying the night on the farm with courier S. She was wide eyed on meeting the horses and thought it was all terribly good fun.
She’ll be able to have a good rest before crossing the Channel with Animalcouriers tomorrow.
Geordie, who we recently collected in Limoges along with his three cats, Tigra, Smokey and Marquis, is staying for a little while with courier J.
He’s making himself right at home at his favourite lookout post halfway up the stairs.
Lovely, lively Springer Spaniel Sopi has been homeboarding with courier J.
The next Animalcouriers trip to Spain and Portugal sets off later this week, and Sopi is getting very excited about rejoining her family.
In the meantime, she and the Animalcouriers house dogs are having lots of fun and games.
We collected one-year-old Springer Spaniel Sopi from Cork — she’s shortly off to live in Spain.
She’s as mad as you like! She and house dog Pugsley became best mates as soon as they clapped eyes on each other. They dance, play and chew up toys together — much to the dismay of the other dogs in the house, resident Billy and guest Dino, who could only watch as a favourite teddy was demolished in a tug o’ war.
So now when it’s playtime, Sopi and Pugsley go outside, while Billy and Dino provide much needed admin support in the office.
Skipper, along with dogs Lobo and Euro and Cyclops the cat, has been staying with Animalcouriers before heading to rejoin his family in North Wales.
Skipper has been supervising work in the Animalcouriers office. As he settled into the routine, he started revealing more and more of his vocabulary of whistles, squawks and words.
We’ve found out he’s about 30 years old — quite the venerable gent. We were warned that he can be a bit grumpy at times, so none of us has been silly enough to risk our fingers! However, resident Staffie Pugsley has become Skipper’s fearless and very ardent admirer.
