Lovely German Shepherd Irma who’s on our Greek trip is moving to Scotland. Until she could travel, foster mum Elisavet took super care of her.
Irma will be joining Nikos and his wife, who live in a wonderful wild and windy spot near Cumnock and are animal physiotherapists.
They already have several dogs, including two rescue dogs from Greece — a Boxer called Avgi and a Maltese Terrier cross called Maya, delivered to them by Animalcouriers last year.
Lucky Irma, it sounds like she’s joining a fabulous household!

Irma’s a cutie pie! She almost looks like a cross between a corgi and a shepherd!
Think perhaps we did her a disservice with the angle that shot was taken but know what you mean
Ooopps. Still a cutie pie!
Without a doubt
Aww she’s beautiful! Mum’s family have 3 rescue German Shepherds! We love them!
We can understand why Mum’s family have three. So rewarding!
Good for Erma – she already looks Scottish!!
Yes! Se’s got her hunting tweeds on already
Lucky Irma
Can you imagine the fun she’s going to have!
And she has a coat to cope with that cold weather too!
Yes, at least one of these Greek dogs is well prepared for the change in climate!
That certainly sounds like an interesting household. Hope Irma has a great time fitting in.
Sounds like it is very relaxed and all the dogs get on. A big change for Irma but she’s up to it.
So happy for her
It does sound like she is going to have such a great time in Scotland
But she’s not a pure breed I bet, her fur is so long and fluffy, nearly like that of my (half)-Belgian shepherd. She’s cute and I’m sure she’ll be happy in Scotland.
Sadly we’ll never know her exact mix but it is a winner, whatever!
She is so gorgeous!
She most certainly is!
Also, to everyone wondering what her breed is; this is a spot on Tervuren shepherd, a Belgian cattle dog!
xx
Weeeeeeell after a bit of google imaging, I’m not so sure anymore. Haha sorry guys
It can be so hard to work out the mix of many animals
so true!!
