Animalcouriers collected Blythe’s two cats from Lausanne in Switzerland for their journey to the family home in Scotland.
It was a return trip for the cats and for Animalcouriers, as we transported Simon and Lucy to Lausanne in 2010.
Blythe wrote to let us know how the cats are getting on now they’re back in Scotland:
“Just to say THANK YOU for looking after my two on their trip. They arrived at my Dad’s incredibly chilled out, and immediately settled in. I think that speaks volumes that the trip went well (OK they maybe did not actually enjoy it, but it’s clear they were treated very well).
I hear Lucy behaved OK which is great – obviously she heard my attempt to blacken her character to courier M2 and decided to prove me wrong

I definitely would not hesitate to use you again, and recommend you to others.”

Gosh, there in for a shock..Scotland..they will freeze their butt’s off up there..BOL
As they’re Scottish born and bred, they may take issue with that!
Cheers to the homeland!
Mmm, wonder if they’re partial to haggis?
They are indeed very used to the Scottish weather but Simon has laid on an extra layer of fat, just in case
Once again, thanks to all at Animal Couriers. It is a bit stressful moving countries but both times I have at least been able to relax about the cats, knowing they are in safe hands
It was our pleasure to transport them for you! It is very stressful and cats pick up on that so quickly. Glad Simon is ready for anything – you’re going to have fun trying to convince him it was unnecessary
When are you coming to Western Australia?
Although we arrange for many pets to be transported to Western Australia, we sadly never get to go along for the ride!
Not good enough! I will complain to the management!
Hi! I have just nominated you for the Reader Appreciation Award – http://manishamishra.wordpress.com/2012/08/08/reader-appreciation-award/. I would be very happy if you accept
.
Thank you
!
Thank you so much – we are honoured and will most graciously accept. The acceptance speech always takes a little longer than it should…!
Thank you for accepting
How lovely to hear that someone is so pleased with how you looked after their pets.
Clowie – thanks, we are always delighted to get feedback after a journey, especially with news on how they’ve settled in.
Great to hear they are settling in
It is good to hear – even if poor Simon may have to take up exercise of some sort!
Is yooo’s on holiday at de moment
xx
Yup – it’s too hot in most of Europe to move furry passengers about, even with airconditioning. We’s allowing ourselves a break too
What a lovely statement. Simon and Lucy look content.
Bella and DiDi
Thanks Bella and DiDi – they’re pleased the move is over can get back to proper cat things.
You know, we’re moving next week and will be riding for awhile…. what tips could you offer Jen to help make the trip calming for all of us? Thanks!
Ah Rumpy, please forgive the delay in getting back to you. Sounds like things are hotting up for you and your move. You’re going to have a very full car for your journey with two dogs and three cats sharing the space. Our advice is to have plenty of comfort breaks for you and DeDe. Persuade Jen not to drive too fast – although you’ll get there sooner if she does, you’ll find it more comfortable at a steady pace
For June Buggie, Jones and Graybie we’d suggest that you cover their travel compartment – they’re not so interested in watching the world go by as you hounds! And obviously a litter tray as they can’t take advantage of the rest breaks like you can
Jen shouldn’t worry if the cats don’t eat during the journey – as long as they have water, they prefer to eat when the wheels stop moving. Wishing you a really good journey and do look forward to hearing how it goes. If Jen has any questions, please do pass them on x
