When Patrick was looking for a way to move his four pets from the Dordogne to England, he had a chat with the local kennels and cattery, Pattes et Griffes, run by James and Jane.
They remembered that Animalcouriers had visited them about five years ago, and told Patrick about us. Our visit back then had coincided with them having just opened for business, and James and Jane were very hopeful that the big step they’d taken in moving to France with their two young sons would pay off. Well, it looks to us as though it has.
They have an excellent kennel block with a huge exercise field for the dogs, and another block that provides accommodation for larger families of dogs. The cattery is in a separate building, well away from the kennels and close to the house. And of course their two boys, Spencer and Marshall, are now very much taller than last time we saw them, and now speak fluent French.
Patrick’s Berger Picard dogs, Timosha and Taska, and cats, Lenin and Trotsky, are now on their way with us to the UK.

Trotsky… great name for a cat!
It is, we think the whole crew have interesting names – perhaps the cats live up to theirs by their murderous natures?
I was having the same thoughts.
You guys are amazing!
Can’t keep up with all posts but love it and, again, I want your job!
We are posting rather a lot at the moment and keeping up with our teams is hard enough for us. As you can see, we’re busy enough to need the help
LOL Lenin&Trotsky… hope you don’t get a cat-revolution on your way… but anyway, gorgeous names, I like it…
They are such fun names. We’re keeping a jolly good eye on those chaps!
Classic picture – looks like double trouble!
Yes, it has been commented on that we should be careful a revolution doesn’t take place in the van…
Even if there is a revolt, perhaps they’ll get it right this time?
You mean cats ruling the world?
Yup! They couldn’t possibly do much worse than the current bums.
You said it!!!
