Couriers J and M have been all over Europe and as far as North Cyprus so far this year, but this is their first trip to France in 2012.
You can imagine how much they’re enjoying being back among the sights, smells and sounds of France, especially during the summer season when the sunflowers are out and the fruit trees are full of nectarines, peaches and apricots.

Fab picture!
There is little more uplifting than a whole field of sunflowers smiling at you!
I want this in my garden next year! I will be plotting the perfect location for it between now and then… though I think I have it figured out as I am typing…
Oh, and Annie, the new photograph in the header is stellar! I love it!

Oh dear! I didn’t realize they were changing header photos. They are all superb, but my favorite was the one with dog in the azure blue boat.
One of my favourites, too
We look forward to seeing your sunflowers next year!
Beauty in the raw… It is still difficult to believe so many young men died in those fields 70 years ago…so that we can enjoy this same view today.
It is – and the earlier fields dotted with millions of poppies are just as affecting.
Lovely!
I love the composition of your image : )
Thank you – courier J will be pleased to hear that
Beautiful….
Stunning pic – sunflowers are one of my favourites.
they evoke warm weather and all that goes with it.
