Our second French and Spanish trip is underway

Our southern European run is so busy this month we have two vans on the move. Couriers S and L left first and are now deep in Spain. They’ll take in Portugal too before heading back north along the western side of Spain and France.

Meanwhile couriers J and M, rested after their latest trip to North Cyprus, are doing a shorter journey through France and down as far as Barcelona.

On board already is Boris, who is off on his summer holidays — Dawn and family will catch up with him tomorrow.

We also have two cats, Harley and Titch, who are off to live in the Auvergne. They’ll stay in a cattery there while their owner Fran packs up the house and the removers come and go. It’s so much kinder this way, as the cats don’t have the stress of watching their favourite chairs and rugs being loaded up. And when they’re reunited with Fran, all their familiar furniture will be in place. Everything will seem much as it was before, which will help them settle in much faster.

Boris and his very pink tongue

Harley looking very bored at having his photo taken — already showing us he is a laid-back sort of chap.

Titch is a little less confident and has taken up residence in his litter tray — not quite as laid back as Harley, but still curious about the events going on around him

  1. Great plan for relocating the cats. I can’t imagine all the juggling you folks have to do with places to stay and all the different destinations. What a great team!

    • Things can get complicated when everyone’s on the move – cats really benefit from missing out on the demolition and reconstruction of their homes. They then arrive to find their favourite things and smells, even if the order of it all is decidedly odd ;-)

We'd love to hear from you...
